Carolina Rivera

Carolina Rivera is the Wine Ambassador of Viña San Pedro, one of the greatest wine exporters in Chile. She has 14 years’ experience in the World of Wine.
She began her career in 1995 in the first House of Wine installed in Chile. Later she worked in different wineries to then join Wine Group in 2000, where she works until present date.

In 2006 she moved to the U.S as Wine Ambassador to work together with importer of Viña Tarapacá and Bodega Tamarí, Terlato Wines Internationals. There she carried out consultancies in wine, wine tastings and collaborated with the sales force during incorporations.

She returned to Chile as Wine Ambassador, carrying out wine tastings and general training for Clients, Distributors and Social Events.

The current Viña San Pedro Wine Ambassador took part in a radio program presented by Iván Núñez, “Palabras sacan Palabras” (Words Breed Words), advising consumers on wine consumption and services in general.

The same initiative was produced parallelly on Tiempo Radio, on Jorge Aedo’s program, “El placer de volver a casa” (The pleasure of returning home), giving brief advices on the spot for wine lovers.

On Wednesdays, she advises the listeners of “95.3” radio” on “Safari Urbano” (Urban Safari), (between 6:00 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.). You can also listen to her advices and tips on “Será Noticia” (It will be News), together with Mauricio Bustamante and Verónica Schmidt on Infinita Radio (between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.). Carola offers advices and tips on Castillo de Molina wine, and suggests making original pairings based on the “Slowlife” concept.

Another one of her experiences has been taking part as one of the jury members in Tasting Panels in different countries, for example in Expo Bogotá, which takes place in Colombia every year. She has also worked training the personnel of Viña Tarapacá as to obtain certifications, such as ISO 14001.
